Biography

Bruce Carhart was born on January 19, 1907 in Keyport, Hazlet Township, Monmouth, New Jersey, United States.^[1] He was the son of Ralph Carhart and Leanetta Bedle.

He married Evelyn Wiggins on December 26, 1937.^[2] Together they had 1 child:

1. Caroline Carhart

His wife died soon after their daughter was born. He left his daughter in the care of his brother Ralph Bloomfield Carhart (1906-1980).

He served in WWII as a warrant officer. In civilian life he was an apprentice electrician.^[3]

He died in March 1987 in Otisville, New York.^[4]
