Biography

Leoluca Cannaliato is born around 1829 in Corleone, the son of Andrea Cannaliato and Bernarda Colletti.

Leoluca marries Biagia Labruzzo on 4 November 1849.^[1]

They have at least two children, Rosa (c. 1858) and Maria (b. 1861), who marry brothers.

Rosa's birth date is not yet known. I have estimated she is twenty years old when she marries.

Maria is born 15 October 1861 in Corleone, daughter of Leoluca Cannaliato, age 32, villico, living in via Burgognoni, Corleone, and his wife Biagia Labbruzzo, age 31. Based on his age at the time of his daughter's birth, I've estimated Leoluca's birth year at 1829.

Rosa marries Giuseppe Ligotino on 23 September 1878. This record includes a dispensation for consanguinity. They are second cousins, once removed.

Giuseppe's brother, Leoluca, marries Rosa's sister, Maria, with final banns posted as of 21 October 1881.

Death of Leoluca

Leoluca dies at age 73 (b. 1830) on 13 March 1903. He is the widower of Biagia.^[2] His death is repeated in record no. 109 on the same page.
