Biography

William R. "Billie" Campbell was born in about 1790 in Iredell County (probably Union Grove), North Carolina, USA. His parents were Perciphull Campbell, Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Cook. He married Jensie Jane Morgan in about 1810, probably in Wilkes County. They moved to Izard County, Arkansas. Billie died, possibly in Tennessee, in about 1844. Jensie Jane Morgan was born in Iredell County in about 1792 and died in Franklin Township, Izard County, Arkansas in about 1865.[1]

Billie and Jensie had the following children[2]:

  1. Alfred Campbell (Birth 1819 - Wilkes County, North Carolina, USA or Tennessee, USA), who married Susan A "Susie" Givens (Birth 1829 - Alabama, USA - Death 1880 • Union, Izard, Arkansas, USA)[3]
  2. Teresa or Thersy Campbell (Birth 1829, Tennessee, USA)[4]
