Biography

Aida was born in 1879. Aida gave birth to her son Ugo in 1899. The father of Ugo died of tuberculosis before they could marry. Aida married Guccio Gucci in 1902, who then adopted Ugo. When Guccio and Aida married (he was 21 and she was 24 years old), she was already pregnant with their first daughter Grimalda, who was born three months later. Four children followed: Enzo born in 1904 and died in 1913, Aldo born in 1905, Vasco born in 1907 and Rodolfo born in 1912.
