Thomas Call was born about 1748.
In 1784 he married Miss Blackburn, daughter of John Blackburn.
On the 5th of February last was married at Calcutta,- in the East-Indies, Capt. Thomas Call, of the Engineers, and Surveyor General of Bengal, to Miss Blackburn, daughter of John Blackburn, of. New-Malton, Esq; Capt. of the Fox East-Indiaman ; a most agreeable and accomplished young lady. [1]
Thomas married Bethia Blackburn in February 1784 in Bengal, India. [2]
Thomas is included in the 1787 list of staff working for the Eat India Company in Bengal, listed as Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Call Chief Engineer. [3]
Thomas died on 12 December 1788 in the Indian Ocean on his way back to England. [4]
