Elizabeth Cake was born in the 2nd quarter of 1846 in the Wareham and Purbeck District of Dorset. ^[1] On the 1851 Census, Elizabeth (born in Morden) was 4 years old and living with her family in Piddletown. Her paretns were identified as David Cake and Elizabeth Stickland. ^[2] A record of her 2nd marriage verifies that her father was David Cake. ^[3]
