Biography

Joseph was born on 9 Oct 1848 and baptized in Cocagne on 22 Oct 1848. He was the son of Hyppolite Caissie and Agnès McGraw.[1]

In the 1861 census Joseph (age 9, sic) lived with his parents and siblings in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick.[2]

In the 1871 census Joseph (age 22) was in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick.[3]

Joseph (29) and Monique Doiron (24) were married on October 7, 1878 in Grande-Digue. She was the daughter of Louis Doiron and Marie Louise Caissie. [4]


Joseph (35) and Artémise Desrosiers (28) were married on November 5, 1883 in Shediac, Westmorland. Artémise was born about 1854. She was the daughter of François Desrosiers and Marie Louise Lebel. [5]
