Hi again,

I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!

If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.

Best wishes,

Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader

Hi,

The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.

REMINDER: We use Google Groups for project collaboration and you aren’t yet a member of the group, please submit a join request here (make sure to add your name/WikiTree ID to the request).

Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list. We recently launched a new Profile Improvement Team and are seeking new team members. Let me know if you’re interested.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi Martin,

Thanks for joining the Germany Project! I've awarded you a project member badge.

Please read the Germany project page. When you have a chance, please submit a join request to our Google Group, where our project communicates. Please make sure to add your name and WikiTree ID to the request so we can get you set up. Here's a link: https://groups.google.com/g/wikitreegermanroots

The Germany Project has several teams that cover regional, functional, historical and migrational interests. Please check them out and let me know which team(s) you'd like to join. You'll find that one of our 16 regional teams may be a good fit.

We look forward to working with you!

Hi,

The Germany/German Roots Project is currently undergoing our member check-in and wanted to verify that you are still active and interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? We have many new teams so have a look on the Germany project page for the list of them. Is there a particular Team or area you are interested in participating with? I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!

We use Google groups for internal project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup for access feel free to submit a join request and we will get that approved as quick as possible. We also ask that members check their follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (GERMANY) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all the work you have been doing. We look forward to hearing back from you and that you will decide to be part of the project as we move forward with the new teams for the project.

Please respond by private message. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hello Martin,

I have commenced a WikiTree One Name Study to collect together in one place everything about the 'Arland' surname.

The hope is that other Arland families and researchers will join our study to help make it a valuable reference point for people studying lines that cross or intersect.

Please take the time to have a look at the Free Space Page for this study at - https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:Arland_Name_Study&public=1 https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Arland_Name_Study

I would love to hear from you, and learn how you and your family fit into the ‘Arland’ genealogy worldwide matrix.

How's everything going?

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Martin, I’m so glad you volunteered! You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree. Have a great time getting to know your ancestors! Not sure how to start? Visit How to Use Wikitree for instructions. Our G2G forum is a great way to get to know our community! Join the fun with our Question of the Week:<nowiki>Where do you look to bring out the details of your ancestor's life?</nowiki>

Someone will check back with you in a couple of days to see how things are going. Meanwhile, enjoy getting to know WikiTree! Lee :)

Welcome to WikiTree, Martin! Your initial email from us contains helpful links to get you started. Totally FREE, Wikitree is unlike any genealogy site you’ve ever used! It's different as our goal is to have one profile per person; that means we all work together in a BIG collaborative team! Once you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer, fill in your tags and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? Most important - have fun growing your family tree and connecting to persons with the same interest. Once you volunteer and one of our Greeters confirms you, you’ll be on your way! Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here. Lee :)
