Biography

Buckinghamshire (historic flag)
Fanny (Butcher) Fuller was born in Buckinghamshire, England.
Fanny was born in 1854[1] in Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire, England. She was the daughter of William Butcher and his wife, Sarah Dodwell. The family lived in Long Crendon, where Fanny's father worked as a mason.[2] In 1881 Fanny worked as a nursemaid for the Cooke family in Oxford, Oxfordshire.[3]

In 1884 Fanny married Alfred William Welling in London.[4] He died in 1891 at the age of 37,[5] leaving Fanny a widow living with her two children in Chelsea, London, at the time of the census later that year.[6]

Fanny married Frederick Fuller in 1895.[7] By 1901 the family lived in Old Windsor, Berkshire.[8] Frederick worked in the gardens at Windsor Castle in 1911[9] and 1921, when he listed his employer as "His Majesty the King."[10]

Fanny died in 1933 at the age of "81."[11]
