Biography

Birth

Curwain was born on March 8,1853 in New York. His parents were Coxe Butcher Butcher-4885 and Sarah Fitch.[1] His full birth date is given in his death records.

Marriages

His first marriage was to Alta M. Pitcher. They were married in Lawrence, Van Buren, Michigan on July 4, 1875.[2] His second marriage was to Kitty Williams, daughter of Thomas Williams, in St Joseph, Berrien, Michigan on August 29, 1901.[3]

Death

Curwain passed away on May 24, 1943 in Hartford, Van Buren, Michigan. His cause of death was Cerebral Apoplexy. He was buried in Hill Cemetary in Lawrence, Michigan on May 26th.[4]
