Julia Electa Bush was born in Turin, New York, in 1844. She married former Congressman Clinton Levi Merriam (his second wife). Julia (Bush) Merriam died as the result of a truck accident in New York City in 1928. She is buried in the Houseville Cemetery, Turin, Lewis County, New York.
