Biography

Daniel Burrows was born on October 28, 1766 in Groton, New London, Connecticut Colony, son of Silas Burrows (1741–1818) and Mary Smith (1743–1816).^{[1] [2][3]}

Daniel (21) married Mary Avery (17) (born about 1769 in Groton, New London County; daughter of Sergeant Jasper Avery and Elizabeth (Smith) Avery) on December 16, 1787. Their children were:

• Mary Burrows (1789–~1888)
• Elizabeth A. Burrows (1811–1865)

In 1850, Daniel (83) was living in Middletown, Middlesex with his wife, Mary (81); and Ruth Steele (58). ^[4]
