Arthur Burney is a part of US Black heritage.
Arthur Burney was born in Tennessee.
Arthur Burney was born on 23 August 1900 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.[1] He was the son of Mollie Perkins and Charlie Burney.[2]
He married Hestella Williams (also called Hester) on 4 June 1921 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.[3]
In the 1930 census, he was living in Montgomery County with his wife and two children.[4]
In the 1940 census, he was living in Clarksville, Montgomery County, with his wife and five children.[5]
Arthur Burney passed away on 26 December 1967 and was buried at Edgefield Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Clarksville, Tennessee.[1][6] He was a member of Edgefield Baptist Church and Council of Labor & Road Carriers Local 120.[2]
