Biography
Thomas was born in 1858.[1] He was baptised on 3rd June 1871 in Durban, Natal, South Africa as the son of Thomas Abraham Burman and Caroline Sarah Province.[2]
In 1884 he married Florence Carlotta Schenk.[3]
In 1899 he married Gwynneth Mary MacDonald.[4]
In 1918 he was awarded MBE for his work as Chairman of the relief sub-committee of the Governor General's Fund in Durban, South Africa.[5][6]
He passed away in 1931.[7]
