Biography
Joseph Tyler Burley was born in 1939. Joseph earned a bachelors' degree (Geology) from Tufts University, Medford and Somerville, Massachetts, in 1961. He served with distinction as a fighter pilot during the Vietnam War, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, and other recognitions. Joseph Burley died in Fort Walton, Florida, in 2013; he is buried in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida (Plot: B-16, C 10).
