Biography

Mary Burge died young.

Mary was probably born in or near East Lydford, Somerset, England in 1793 (see Research Notes below). Her parents were were William and Elizabeth Burge. [1] [2]

She died on 25th March 1797 and was buried in All Saints Churchyard, Weston, Bath on 29th March. [2] [3]

Research Notes

Mary's parents are clearly named on her gravestone, which agrees with the names of the baptism record from East Lydford. But, if as was common, she was baptised as an infant she would have been about 2 years old at death, not 3 3/4 years as on the gravestone. Honor-65 14:56, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
