The Samuel Burdge of this profile does not appear to be the Samuel Burdge who married Ann Crandon in 1814. The 1841 and 1851 England censuses show that he was still married to Elizabeth. He was widowed in 1843; after that he may have remarried. His baptism record names his mother as Mary, ruling out other possible spouses with a Samuel Burdge. There appeared to be multiple Samuel Burdges born in that same time frame.
