Izola was born in 1895. She was the daughter of George Burdette and Josie Gillam.
She died, at the age of 50, on February 20, 1945 in Ashland, Alabama. She is buried at the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, Ashland, Clay County, Alabama.[1]
