Richard was born in 1874. Richard Buechler ... He passed away in 1930. [1]
Richard was born in Baden, Germany in Dec 1874. According to the1920 US Census he immigrated in 1890. He married Barbara A Treis about 1899 and the 1920 census lists 8 children: Elizabeth 20, Francis J 18, Mathias F 16, Nicholas J 15, Joseph A 13, John R 10 and Robert 5. He was listed as being an apprentice draftsman for an electric company (GE?). They lived at 10 Lake Boulevard in Schenectady, New York. In Addition, the 1915 NYS census lists Charles age 6 at that time. In 1915, Nicholas 82 and Eva 76, (his in laws), were living with them, but they were gone by 1920. The NYS 1925 NYS census shows them living in Glenville, (Across the Mohawk R from Schenectady).
