Biography

George, son of George Parker Budlong and Mary Myers,^[1] was born about 1851 in New York^[2].

He married Melissa Caroline Gale in Thurston County, Washington on 30 Dec 1875^[3][4]. In 1880, they, and their young son Walter, lived with her father and brother in Olympia^[5]. By 1885 they had moved to Seattle, Washington^[6].

He married Edith Josephine Moody in Victoria, Canada on 15 Nov 1893^[1][7]. In 1900, he lived with his wife and step-son in Seattle^[8].

He was a sea captain^[1]. He died on 1 Mar 1907 in Seattle^[2][9], and is buried in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery^[10].

Research Notes

Although he is listed as a widower at the time of his second marriage, his first wife did not die until 1939.
