Biography

Isaac, son of Levi Buchanan and Amanda Perry,[1][2] was born on 4 July 1876[3] in Kansas. Their family lived and farmed in Center Township, Smith, Kansas.[4]

Perley (age 22) married Lillie Chargois (age 18) on 20 July 1898 in Cheney, Spokane, Washington.[1] Their children included:

Isaac (age 40) married Bernice N Hannah (age 22) on 17 August 1916 in Spokane, Washington.[2] Their children included:

  • Ruth Buchanan, born on on 19 Jul 1917[9][10]
  • Mary Buchanan, born on 21 March 1921[11]
  • Esther Patty Buchanan, born on 16 January 1926[12]
  • Alice Linelle Buchanan, born on 19 Sep 1929.[13]

Isaac registered for the US World War I Draft on 12 Sep 1918.[14]

In 1920, their family was living in Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles, California.[15]
