Biography

Ruth Elizabeth (Bryant) Eggert, 88, a Meeker, Oklahoma resident, passed away peacefully in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma on 29 January 2009. She was born on 31 July 1920 in Oklahoma, the fourth of five children, all daughters of Millard Franklin Bryant, 1889-1962 and Flora Myrtle (Miner) Bryant, 1892-1973. She married Henry John Eggert in about 1940.

Mrs. Eggert was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Henry, 1920-1993; and sisters, Alma Myrtle (Bryant) Pettit, 1913-2005; Hazel Maudielee (Bryant) Black, 1915-1938; Edith Ethel (Bryant) Pettit, 1917-1997; and Bessye Lois (Bryant) Eubank, 1927-1985.

Visitation was from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, 1 February 2009 at the Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 State Highway 3, Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, 2 February 2009 at the funeral home where the Rev. Charles Pearcy of the Assembly of God Church officiated.

Burial followed at the Resthaven Memorial Park, Rock Creek Township, Pottawatomie, Oklahoma. The Findagrave memorial ID is 91639651.
