Biography

Valentine was born in 1892. He was the son of Anton Bruns and Kate Kuhlmann. He passed away in 1941.

1910 Census Val was living with his parents and was a clerk at a grocery store

1920 Census his occupation is a Machinist in the industry of Coat Co. He is single and still living with his parents and younger sister

1930 Census states that he owns his own business of a Cigar and Candy Store and is single

1940 Census sates Val is single, renting, occupation is listed as "Poster" and highest grade completed is the 8th grade.

US Veterans Administration Master Index 1917 - 1940 states that his Military date was 5/20/1919. He is buried in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
