Biography
Anita, daughter of J Robert Brown and Mary Ann "Annie" was born on February 8th 1886 in Qu'appelle, Saskatchewan. [1] Granville Morgan and Anita Brown were married December 26th 1906 in Summerland, British Columbia. [2] By 1911, Granville and Anita had a son named Arthur and a boarder in their Summerland home. [3] The family farmed in Summerland in 1921 and had 2 more sons, Gordon and Howard. [4] She was a voter there in 1940. [5] Anita was widowed in 1959. She died on December 31st 1982 in Kelowna and was buried in Peach Orchard Cemetery, Summerland. [6]
