Biography

Named after his paternal grandfather, Waldo Albert Brown was born on 29 Sep 1960 in Amarillo, Texas. He was the son of John Brown and his wife, Virginia Marie Long. ^[1] The baby only lived seven days and died on Oct 6 1960. ^[2] He was laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana, Navarro, Texas with other members of his extended family. ^[3]

Brown Infant Dies Thursday

Waldo Albert Brown, one- week old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Brown, Amarillo, died Thursday in an Amarillo hospital.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Oakwood cemetery. Rev. Bob Cook, pastor of Central Methodist church, will officiate. Survivors, other than the parents, are two brothers, John Allen and Robert Brown, both of Amarillo; grandmother, Mrs. W A. Brown, Corsicana, and other relatives.
