William Brown was born in Suffolk, England.

William was born about 1778.

He married Harriot Jermyn on 23 May 1810 at St Lawrence, Ipswich.^[1][2]

In the 1841 census, William was recorded as a patient of Belle Vue Lunatic Asylum.^[3]

In the 1851 census, he was again recorded as a patient of Belle Vue Asylum, under the initials, 'W. B.'.^[4]

He died 6 June 1851 and was buried 12 June 1851 at St Nicholas, Ipswich.^[5][6][7]
