Biography

Edward served as Mayor of Rockford, Illinois 1866–1867 and 1895-1901

Edward Brown is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Rockford, Illinois.

Edward was born in 1857. He was the son of William Brown and Hannah Miller. ^[1][2][3]

He married Elizabeth White in 1880. ^[4]

They had the following children:

1. Edna Lucille (Green) 1886–1971
2. Lucy May (Smith) 1888–1972
3. Carolyn (Choate) 1896–1977
4. Baby Brown

They lived in Rockford. ^[5][6]

Elizabeth died in 1917. He married Mabel White before 1920. ^[7][8]

Edward was mayor of Rockford from 1895-1901. ^[9]

Edward passed away in 1939.^[10][11]
