Peter Britt was Killed in Action during World War II.
Peter Britt served in the United States Army in World War II Service started: Unit(s): third Troop Battalion of the 10th Armoured Division Service ended: KIA 16 Mar 1945
Peter was born around 1915 in Illinois to Peter Sr. and his wife Mary Agnes Doherty.[1][2][3] He married Margaret Mary Nicholson on 22 Jun 1940[4] They had a son, Thomas, before the start of the war. In the war, Peter was in third Troop Battalion of the 10th Armoured Division.[5] After the Battle of the Bulge and just after taking Trier, the division mounted a pincer movement attack against the German 2nd Mountain Division. Peter was killed in action and is buried in Luxembourg.[6]
