I've made some corrections to your profile for Joseph Schaub. His father was Martin, not Sebastian, if you'd like to correct that. If you want I can continue to add to this line.

My source for Sebastian Schaub as father of Josef Schaub (profile "Schaub-213" is Wendelin Irslinger, who manages(ed) the Ortenau History Genealogy in Niederschopfheim. He provided a link to his site in 2015 which I used for my wikitree profile. I am unable to open that site and cannot contact Wendelin at his email address in 2015. Wendelin and I are related via the Duginger family.

It appears your source (photo of hand-written familienbuch) is reliable, so I will use Martin. (these are the types of documents I researched (unsuccessfully) to find my maternal great-great grandfather, Simon Lechleiter.)

Hi,

The Global Cemeteries Project is currently undergoing our member check-in and wanted to verify that you are still active and interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Cemetery Teams? If not, is there a particular Team or area you are interested in participating with? I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!

We use Google Groups for internal project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup for access feel free to submit a join request and we will get that approved as quick as possible. We also ask that members check their followed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (CEMETERIES) so you don't miss any discussions in G2G.

Last, but not least, we would like to thank you for all of your contributions to WikiTree and let you know that any ideas or suggestions for improvement you may have for the Global Cemeteries Project would greatly appreciated!

I look forward to hearing form you soon!

Steve ~Global Cemeteries Project Leader

Hi Wayne,

I sent you a message a week ago about the new-look Global Cemeteries Project but have not yet heard back from you. If you would like to continue in the project, please can you PM me your team(s) selections and your e-mail address for the Google group.

If I don’t hear back from you by this time next week I’ll assume you no longer wish to be in the project at this time.

Many thanks,

Susie :-)

Hi Wayne,

We’ve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.

Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.

Please let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project, if you’d like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) you’d like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group.

Many thanks,

Susie

One year later! I have learned that what my grand-father spelled Maier was actually spelled Meyer as I traced back, Brooklyn NY, there were 5 children in family, orphaned, parents were Philip Meyer(Maier)& Kate Fahl. Just thought I would touch base. You have meyer in your name. I haven't gotten further back.

Where is my head, it is in relation to Maier's. I have so little info I don't know where to start. EBL
