Biography
Hugh Briggs was born in Thornbury, Gloucestershire, England. He was a weaver.
He died in Taunton or Plympton, Massachusetts after 22 Aug 1692 when he acknowledged a deed. [1]
He married in Taunton, MA 1 Mar 1682/3 Martha Everson,[2] daughter of John, b about 1662, probably in New England. She died in Halifax, MA 12 Jan 1736/7. Children:[3] She was daughter of John Everson of Plymouth.
16 Feb 1685/6: Hugh granted land to Richard Briggs.

Briggs-3410 and Briggs-669 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same person with the same wife and death date/place. Only difference is birth which no one has found a source for yet. SAme parents also. These should be merged to avoid future confusion and with an unconfirmed birth date/place. Some info indicates he may have even been born in England with his siblings.
