Anna was the daughter of Blevins and Emma (Peters) Brewer of Owsley County, Kentucky, and the sister of 11 siblings, including Clarice, Dennis, Douglas, Nina, Virgil, Beulah, Mary, and Nevil. Her father was a farmer. Anna married Green V. Todd of Berea, Kentucky. Their children were Kenneth and Gary. Anna was a school teacher, business owner, and property owner. She was a member of Wallace Chapel Church in Berea.
