George married after 1635 to Anne Peyton, 6th and youngest daughter of John Peyton, Knt., of Doddington, Cambridgeshire, by Alice, daughter of John Peyton, Knt., Bart.[1] They had six sons and six daughters, identified in "Letters to William Fitzhugh"[2] and as follows:
Capt. George, emigrant, died about/before 1700, married first to Elizabeth Green and second to Mary[3] Sewall[1]
Edward,[1] died young at the College of Douay in Flanders[3]
Robert, Gent., emigrated to Virginia, married Anne Baugh and is buried at Acquia.[3] Robert was born about 1660, died testate in Virginia on 19 January 1695/6, was an attorney and had children with wife, Anne Baugh.[1]
George had two further children, both named in the will of his brother William (dated 16 August 1687, proved 22 December 1705); they were left bequests of £100 on condition that they relinquished claims on their father's estate.[4][5][6]
The 1687 will of George's brother William refers to William's "Sister Jane Brent the Widow and Relict of my late Brother George Brent".[4][5][6] This suggests either that Anne Peyton was also known as Jane, or, perhaps more likely, that George had a second marriage, to someone called Jane, and that his wife Anne Peyton died in his lifetime.

George's widow was named as "Jane" in the will of his brother William Brent: Brent, William, of Grays Inn, will 1687, probate 1705. This indicates that the date of death shown on the profile of his wife Anne is incorrect: either she was still living in 1687 (the names Jane and Anne were sometime used interchangeably), or Anne died earlier and George remarried someone called Jane.
PS: The will also names George's children as Richard and Jane.
Brent-306 and Brent-30 appear to represent the same person because: Mariana Peyton and Anne Peyton need to be merged as well. These profiles represent the same person, who is part of the Magna Carta Ancestry Project. He needs to be cleaned up so we can link him to his Magna Carta surety baron
Believe George Brent-190 was the son of this George Brent-30 and Mariana/Marianne Peyton-647 and the nephew of Giles Brent-31. See the footnote here:

Would it be OK to make these connections? Anyone see any problems with this? The only one I can see is that George is called "George Brent of Worcestershire, England" (not Gloucestershire, but I see he was Christened at Worcestershire) and they are next to each other.
