Marion E. Breed was born at Alstead, New Hampshire, on 19 Jul 1838, the daughter of Whitney Breed and Persis Brown (Hatch) Breed.[1] She is probably the female under 5 in the Whitney Breed household in the 1840 Census, but she was not listed with the family in the 1850 Census, so had apparently died by then.[2]
