Bill was the fourth of five sons of Joseph and Garnett Bredengerd. He was born in Kansas and grew up[1]and attended school in Salina.[2]
According to his obituary,[3] he served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theatre in World War II. He married Dixie Lee Cross in Grant, Nebraska, in 1948.[4]
Bill received military technical training in sheet metal and well drilling. He was working in a tin shop in Imperial, Nebraska, in 1950.[5]. He later worked as a sheet and metal contractor and owned his own well drilling company.
He had been living in Wendover, Utah at the time of his death at age 82. He was survived by four sons.
