Hello again James. Just thought you might be interested to know I think it interesting that your grandfather, Dewey, seems to have looked a lot like my dad, Lowy. Take a look at his profile picture, and I have a couple more you can see under his profile too. What do you think? It seems to reinforce the belief we come just from different branches of the same tree. His ID number is Breckenridge-99
I finally figured how to get to your dads profile, I'm slow. I think its the nose.

I too am a direct descendant of the Breckenridge / Breckinridge family. I see your tree is private. But do you mind letting us know what your gateway ancestor is? Mine are Alexander Breckenridge (Breckenridge-156) and Jane Preston. My 7th GGs. Thank you!
Hi Evelyn,

I must apologize for not getting back to you sooner, I am not on wikitree often. Both Alexander and Jane are in my tree directly. I have not completed my tree that far back. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Thanks Jim. I did a relationship find with our ID #s and found we're 4th Cousins. Our common ancestor is https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Breckenridge-97 ( James Breckenridge (1801-1872) husband to Elizabeth Chambers. He's the 3rd Gr Grandfather of us both. So hello Cuz!

If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? I live in the Central Oregon area. Born and raised in California though... and lived there until about 20 years ago. My dad had moved the family from Missouri to the Orange County area of CA, I believe during the end of the war. I look forward to the possibility of sharing information between us.

I was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. I moved to Florida in 1984 and then to North Carolina in 1996, I still live in NC.

I do most of my work in Ancestry and some in Family Search and would enjoy sharing information. Most of my relatives on the Breckenridge side still live in Iowa.

James, Hello again. Because of other demands and sickness, I have not been on wikitree very much since my last response. Hope to get back into it at least a little soon. In thinking back, I believe at one time my dad mentioned part of the family moved to Iowa. I will have to look further into that. I have not yet had a chance to look at your tree and look forward to doing so soon. Just wanted you to know I having disappeared and am still interested in exploring our family. Hope your day has been a good one!

Ev

Thanks. I will check it out.

Evelyn
