She married George Raymond Picken in 1912. [2]

Catherine passed away in 1957.
Services for Mrs. Catherine I. Picken, 74, 935 N. Maint St., who died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Rockford Memorial Hospital will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Burpee-wood funeral home, 420 N. Main St.
Dr. J. Rodman Williams, pastor of First Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home from 7 to 8 o'clock tonight.
Mrs. Picken was born June 17, 1883, in Guilford Township, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Breckenridge. She lived 50 years in Rockford.
She was married to George Picken in Guilford township June 26, 1912. She was a member of First Presbyterian church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bailey, Rockford, and Mrs. Jean Beck, Ocean Springs, Miss.; a son, Dr. Edgar Picken, Sterling; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Andrew and Jane Picken, both of Rockford, and Mrs. Grace Rodgers, New York; and a brother, Robert Breckenridge.[5]
