Biography

Clark was born in Michigan in 1880 to John Bratt and Helen Rowley. In 1900, he lived with his parents, brother and grandmother in Tuscola. He was employed as a day laborer.[1]

Clark married Florence Edsall in Tuscola in 1904.[2]In 1910, they lived on their farm in Tuscola with their daughter Louisa.[3]In 1918 and 1920, they lived on their farm in Arbela with their 2 daughters and Florence's mother.[4][5]In 1930, they lived in Flint with their 2 daughters, 2 sons and Florence's mother. Clark was employed as a real estate broker.[6]In 1940, they lived on a farm in Marathon Township with their sons.[7]In 1950, he and Florence lived in Ingham, Michigan with their son Kenneth and his family. He was no longer farming or working.[8]

Clark died in Vassar in 1963. He is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Vassar.[9]
