Dr. John Job Crew Bradfield was born on the 26th of December 1867, at Sandgate, Colony of Queensland. He was the son of John Edward Bradfield and Maria (Crew) Bradfield. [1]
He married Edith Jenkins on the 28th of May 1891, in the Colony of Queensland.[2]

John was the engineer who built the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Brisbane Story Bridge. He also proposed the "Bradfield Scheme" to divert coastal water in North Queensland to the inland.
Dr John Job Crew Bradfield died on the 23rd of September 1943, at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, and was buried in the St John's Anglican Cemetery, Gordon, New South Wales. [3]
