WEDDING. ATKINSON—BRADDOCK.

A pretty wedding took place at The Bungalow, Bundaberg, the residence of the bride's parents on September 9th when Mr Edward Jordan Atkinson was married to Miss Alice May Braddock (eldest daughter of Mr. and. Mrs. Braddock) The Rev. D. Galloway officiated Miss Doris Braddock (sister of the bride acted, as bridesmaid, and Mr. J. Keenan best man. The verandas were artistically decorated for the occasion with flowers and pot plants, and the ceremony took place in a bower over which was suspended a floral wedding bell. Miss R. Frances played "the Voice that breathed o'er Eden," and at the conclusion of the ceremony "the Wedding March".

A Number of Guests were entertained at breakfast, the table being decorated with sweet peas. Subsequently Mr and Mrs Atkinson left on the mail train for the South.

Many handsome presents were recieved, including several cheques. Mrs Adderton an friend of the family was responsible for the charming decoration of the veranda. ^[3]

Alice May (Braddock) Atkinson passed away 15 July 1960 at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. ^[4]

The ashes of Alice May (Braddock Atkinson and her husband, Edward Jordan Atkinson are interred at Mount Thompson Memorial Garden and Crematorium, Holland Park, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. ^[5]
