Cletis Leroy "Clete" Boyer (February 9, 1937 – June 4, 2007) was an American professional baseball third baseman, shortstop and second baseman.

Traded to the New York Yankees.

Became Yankees regular 3rd baseman under Casey Stengel. Played in the World Series vs Pittsburgh Pirates.

Played in the World Series vs Cincinnati Reds. World Champions.
1962
Played in the World Series vs San Fransisco Giants. Hit home run in game 1. World Champions.
1963
Played in the World Series vs Los Angeles Dodgers who swept the series.
1964
Played in the World Series vs St Louis Cardinals, his brother Ken's team. Both men hit home runs in game 7. The Cardinals won in 7 games. Traded to the Atlanta Braves.
1969
Golden Glove award.
1971
Released.
1972
Went to play in Japan for the Taiyō Whales.
1977
Married Teresa Lynne Combs on 28 Feb 1977 in Clark, Nevada, USA[1]
2007
Died on 4 Jun in Atlanta, Georgia following a brain hemorrhage.
