Biography

David Boyd is a part of US Black heritage.

David Boyd was born about 1839^[1]-1841^[2] in Ohio^[1][2]. He was the child^[1] of Rosann and Alfred Boyd, the husband^[3][2] of Dolly Jane Artis, and the brother-in-law of Joseph Artis of the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry.

In 1850, he is attending school in or near Urbana, Ohio.^[1]
