Biography
Floriene was born in 1888 in Bristol, England. She is the daughter of Jane Trigg and her husband Edward John Box.[1] She was known as Bessie.
With her parents and older brother she migrated to Victoria from England in 1889.[2]
Her father either died or disappeared after they had lived in Melbourne for about 4 years. Her mother remarried to Henry Sherratt a few years after that and she adopted the surname Sherratt.
She married Charles William Elliot at Melbourne on 28 Sep 1910.[3][4]
She died in a private hospital in Coburg, VIC in 1951.[5][6]
