Scotty Bowman is a legendary NHL Hockey coach. He's #2 on the list of most Stanley Cup wins as a coach in the history of the sport. He holds the record for most wins in league history with 1,244 during regular season play and 223 during Stanley Cup playoffs.
William was born on 18 September 1933 and baptized in 1933 in Montreal (Montréal), Québec (Quebec), Canada.[1] Better known as Scotty, he won the Jack Adams Award for Coach of the Year twice (1976-77 and 1995-96).[2] He was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 2003.[3] Bowman was invested as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2012.[4]
