Absent, Sick in Richmond, VA. hospital May & June and July & Aug 1863 Rolls.
Absent, on Sick Furlough at home Sept & Oct 1863 Roll.
Mortally wounded 5/10/1864 in the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House, VA; leg amputated; died of wounds.
David and Harriett were third cousins.
