Biography

Henriette Boucher was born on 23 Feb 1810 and was baptized the next day in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière parish, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of Michel Boucher, farmer, and Marie Louise St-Amand]] of this parish. Sponsors at Henriette's baptism were Joseph Boucher and Marie Louise ___ville; neither sponsor signed the register.

At age 17 Henriette married Paschal Gastongué on 11 Sep 1827 in Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies parish in L'Islet, Bas-Canada. There were seven known children born into this marriage.

Henriette Boucher died at age 71 on 4 May 1881 in Saint-Paul-de-la-Croix parish in Kamouraska, Québec, Canada; she was buried two days later on 6 May in Saint-Paul-de-la-Croix parish cemetery.
