Giuseppe Boscarino, alias Monte, is said to be from Corleone, born around 1850.[1]
Giuseppe emigrates in 1890. In New York City, he is known to be a "good friend" of Don Vito Cascio Ferro. Boscarelli, known as "Boscarino" and sometimes as "Giuseppe Monte," owns a pool room. He distributes counterfeit bills for Morello's gang in 1903, at time of the “barrel murder.” He is arrested at that time but not brought to trial.[2]
Giuseppe is the described as an old man from Corleone, who distributes counterfeit bills for Giuseppe Morello, when he is identified to Secret Service by a storekeeper.[3] He is convicted 10 December 1910 for passing counterfeit bills an sentenced to fifteen years in prison.[4][5]
Giuseppe is imprisoned near Atlanta, along with most of his co-conspirators in the counterfeiting operation. While in prison, he violates prison rules on multiple occasions. He is denied parole twice.[3]

Giuseppe dies in prison, on 28 August 1919, from a hernia. He is too poor for his wife to bring his body home for burial. He is carried by his fellow counterfeiters to a Christian burial, per his wife's request.[3] Guiseppi Boscarini is buried in Atlanta, Fulton County, GA.[7][8]
