Biography

Jane Burton, daughter of John Burton, was born on 5 Mar 1659 and baptized on 13 Mar 1659 in Church of St. Michael and All Angels, Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, England.[1] Her mother was Anne and family name is written as Bourton in some records. [2]

'Ann' Barton / Borton, daugher of John Borton, had marriage intentions with Thomas Barton, included in Burlington Monthly Meeting and Philadelphia Yearly Meeting in 1681.[3] Ann Bornton married Thomas Barton on 3 Jun 1681 in Burlington, New Jersey.[4]

Jane 'Bourton', daughtter of John and Ann, died about 'middle of 9th mo', 1688 in Burlington, New Jersey, according to the Burlington Monthly Meeting.[5][6] '9th mo' is Sept or Nov.

Jane died 15 Sep 1688 in Burlington County, New Jersey. She was buried in Friends Burying Ground, Burlington, Burlington County, New Jersey.[7]
