Anne was the eldest daughter of John Borlase (or Burlace), Esq., and Anne Lytton.[1][2] Her birth date is uncertain, but her parents are believed to have married in about 1561.[3] She was likely to have been born in Buckinghamshire, where her parents had lands.

Sarah,[5] baptised at Pytchley, Northamptonshire on 16 January 1592/3,[10] who married Henry Turvile[4] or Turvell in 1614[11]
Another Anne,[5] baptised at Pytchley, Northamptonshire on 16 January 1692/3,[12] who married Edward Glover of Warwickshire in 1613[4][13]
Susanna/Susan,[5] baptised at Pytchley, Northamptonshire on 16 January 1592/3,[14] who married John Fuldow/Faldoe in 1616 and Thomas Therelfall[4]
Gregory,[5] baptised at Pytchley, Northamptonshire on 26 July 1593[4][15]
Thomas,[5] baptised at Lytchley, Northamptonshire on 20 December 1600[4][16]
Anthony, baptised at Pytchley, Northamptonshire on 30 December 1603 and buried there on 26 January 1603/4[4] (FreeReg does not give the baptism month, only the day and year[17]
Elizabeth,[5] buried at Pytchley, Northamptonshire on 3 August 1623[4]
Anne's husband died on 11 June 1626.[4] Anne survived him: her will, dated 4 December 1627, was proved on 1 January 1627/8.[1][2][18][19] In it she:
described her self as widow, late wife of Sir Euseby Isham of Pytchley, Northamptonshire
requested burial in the chancel of the church of Pitchley, Northamptonshire
named, among others:
her son Euseby and his wife Susan
her son William, his wife Mary, and his son Euseby
her daughter Mary, wife of Fleetwood Dormer
her daughter Susan, wife of Thomas Threlfall
her youngest son Thomas, whom she appointed sole executor
her eldest son John, deceased
Susan Isham, "my gentlewoman"
