Seth Booth and his father-in-law Edward Hackett were pioneer settlers of Locke, establishing a settlement in 1798.[2]
He and his wife, Thankful Hackett, had five children.
Seth passed away at age 49 on 3 May 1821 in Locke, Cayuga County, New York, USA. He is buried in the Chipman Corner Cemetery in Locke, Cayuga County, New York.[3]
