Pvt James W. Boller was born on 26 June 1900 in Irwin, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania, USA to Edgar F. Boller.

Military Service

He enlisted in the United States Army to serve in World War I on 18 July 1917. Pvt. James W. Boller served with the 110 Infantry, 28 Division until 23 May 1919.

Marriage

He married Mary E. Brown (1917-1987) who later married Elmer J. Dashem (1897-1960) in 1948.

Death and Burial

James died on 29 August 1942 at the age of 43 in Centre County, Pennsylvania, USA. (Obituary says he died at his home in Collyer, Centre, Pennsylvania.) He had been suffering with a heart ailment for a long time and had just returned home after being hospitalized at Aspinwall Hospital for more than two months according to his obituary.

Buried in Zion Hill Cemetery, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
